Mount Baker Seattle Guided Climb Trips at sunrise

Mount Baker 4‑Day

Porters, Relaxed Pace, and Good Food

Take your time and enjoy the experience- that’s the mantra of this mini-expedition in the alpine wonderland of the North Cascades and Mount Baker. With twelve active glaciers and breathtaking views, 10,781-foot peak provides a scenic, challenging and extremely rewarding mountaineering ascent for beginner climbers. Mount Baker, the highest peak in Washington State’s North Cascades, is considered by many mountaineers to be the most beautiful and pristine Cascadian volcano.

Climb Mount Baker on the Slow Boat”

If you have the desire to climb, but realize that dreams of Everest and Denali may be better left to younger folk, then our Slow Boat” ascent to Baker’s summit is perfect for you! With a much more relaxed itinerary than our regular 3‑day Coleman Deming Glacier or Easton Glacier summit climb, this 4‑day trip requires you to carry only your own personal gear. All food, tents, stoves, fuel, and group climbing equipment will be carried by porters on your way up to base camp. This means that instead of lugging 50 pounds on your back, you’ll be delighted, unburdened and able to enjoy the experience more deeply.

This is a leave it to us,” summit climb.

We’ll help you get prepared for the climb if it’s your first time on a glacier, get you to the trailhead from Seattle (transportation provided), give you shelter from the storm (tents provided), and not only is food provided, but your guides will impress you with their culinary skills and passion for good eats in the mountains — and they cook for you. What more can you ask for? All you have to do is get your equipment together, train, train more, and get psyched to explore one of the best places in the North Cascades.
