Everest Updates 5/4/2017
The Mountain Madness Everest team has completed the uphill part of the 2nd rotation, and all have safely reached Camp III (23,293 ft/7,100m). They are going to head down to Basecamp, and then on to the village of Pheriche to enjoy the relatively thick air at 14,340 ft/4,371 m. They’ll rest for a few days in a teahouse, recover from the last month of climbing, and prepare for the final time through the Khumbu Icefall and the summit attempt. Everyone is doing great and all systems are go!
