Everest Updates 5/4/2017

The Moun­tain Mad­ness Ever­est team has com­plet­ed the uphill part of the 2^nd rota­tion, and all have safe­ly reached Camp III (23,293 ft/7,100m). They are going to head down to Base­camp, and then on to the vil­lage of Pheriche to enjoy the rel­a­tive­ly thick air at 14,340 ft/4,371 m. They’ll rest for a few days in a tea­house, recov­er from the last month of climb­ing, and pre­pare for the final time through the Khum­bu Ice­fall and the sum­mit attempt. Every­one is doing great and all sys­tems are go!
