Thank You Stevens Pass!
Harlan Sheppard, one of our most experienced avalanche instructors, recently took a break from being a rock star on the slopes to ask us to send a thank you to an organization that’s been instrumental in our avalanche education programs: Stevens Pass.

Throughout the winter and spring, we hold many of our ski and avalanche programs at and around Stevens Pass. We couldn’t do it without Marketing Manager Chris Rudolph, the Studly Stevens Pass Ski Patrol, and all the other wonderful people on the mountain. They provide us with lift tickets so that students on our avalanche courses can experience the widest possible variety of terrains and conditions; they provide classroom space for our evening lectures; and they’re longtime supporters of avalanche education.
Haven’t gotten out to dig a test pit this winter? It’s not to late to take an avalanche course with Mountain Madness – check out our course offerings here. Already an avalanche expert? Consider supporting the Northwest Weather & Avalanche Center by buying a ticket to the Snowball.
