Spring skiing coming up in the Cascades and Alaska! Lots of turns to be had now through July.
Looking down the Nisqually chute on Rainier
Since April brought some late-season snowstorms, we’ve been enjoying the last of the winter fun — next up, spring corn! Pictured here are some stellar conditions MM guide Tino and guest Christophe had while skiing on Mt. Rainier. We’ve enjoyed a great season on Rainier, with avalanche courses, ski tours, Denali prep courses, and our new crevasse rescue seminars.
May-June is prime time to ski the volcanoes of the Cascades. Among local skiers favorites are Mount Baker and Mount Adams. Both offer descents of almost 7,000 feet! On July 4th we’re heading over to Russia to ski Mount Elbrus, a Seven Summit. And we also have a great trip in the amazing Little Switzerland area of the Alaska Range. Lots to do!
