Mountain Madness Goes To Colombia!
MenÂtion travÂel to ColomÂbia and images of drug dealÂers and kidÂnapÂpers are usuÂalÂly conÂjured up; not specÂtacÂuÂlar glacÂiÂer-clad peaks, alpine lakes, and quaint coloÂnial vilÂlages. With an aim to offer excurÂsions into El Cocuy NationÂal Park, MounÂtain MadÂness ownÂer Mark GunÂlogÂson, ProÂgram DirecÂtor JereÂmy Allyn and four othÂer trekkers and climbers will explore this area’s potenÂtial for advenÂture travÂel. The team hopes to disÂpel the myth of danÂger with travÂel in ColomÂbia and open up a new cutÂting-edge trip, a well-known tradeÂmark of MounÂtain MadÂness. ActivÂiÂties will include mounÂtaineerÂing, trekking, rock climbÂing, and culÂturÂal exchange. The trip is schedÂuled to depart on FebÂruÂary 4th.
Stay tuned for the team’s disÂpatchÂes to see how this trip will unravel!
