Elbrus Team Reaches Blooming Baksan Valley

Elbrus sea­son has begun in Rus­sia and the climb­ing sea­son is in full swing. Our group met in Moscow to take in some of the sights and cul­ture of this for­eign land before head­ing to the moun­tain. The team is an unlike­ly match, with mem­bers join­ing from Hong Kong, Flori­da and Alas­ka. Though the places we call home stretch all around the world, we have a strong team and we are look­ing for­ward to head­ing up to the Bar­rels camp today. Every­body is ready to stride out their climb­ing legs on the moun­tain and the skiers are ready to rip some turns down the high­est moun­tain in Europe.
