Logan Team Back To Civilization

Tino called from the car yes­ter­day to report that they were picked up by the pilot at 10pm Mon­day night after a 36-hour delay at base camp and flew to the Ulti­ma Thule lodge where they spent the night. Yes­ter­day morn­ing they flew to Chiti­na for the dri­ve back to Anchor­age. They stopped to pick up some burg­ers in prepa­ra­tion for the 4 – 5 hour dri­ve back and were cel­e­brat­ing being near civ­i­liza­tion again.

They start­ed the descent from High Camp Fri­day morn­ing, and reached 10,000 feet where they spent the night. They switched over to a night sched­ule for the final long slog back to Base Camp. Stay tuned for a full report of the trip and some photos!
