Aconcagua Trip Dispatch: Madness Team at Base Camp!

Guides Andrew Wexler and Alejo Lazzati called in this weekend with an update from Aconcagua. Their team – comprised of clients Dave Creeden, Andrea DeVoe, David Krause, Hanse Ringstroem, and Terry Schuck – is attempting the summit via the

Polish Route
, and report that they’re doing wonderfully.

We’ve been hard at work enjoying meals of meat, vegetables, and wine,” the guides reported from Plaza Argentina, their base camp at 13,780 feet. The group is very strong, and has been keeping a great pace, so we’re feeling great. Tomorrow we’re planning to make a carry to a cache at Camp 1. Onward and upward!”
