Aconcagua Polish Traverse team
Andrew Wexler called in from Camp 1 on Aconcagua. The group is doing well. They are at Camp 1 for their last night. It has been snowÂing for 2 days and is snowÂing now. YesÂterÂday they made a carÂry with supÂplies to Camp 2 and plan to move up to Camp 2 tomorÂrow to setÂtle in for our sumÂmit push. The snow is makÂing things a bit chalÂlengÂing, but is good for conÂdiÂtions overÂall and if the weathÂer clears allows for someÂtimes easÂiÂer travÂel than over what can be scree slopes in dry conÂdiÂtions. So, wish them luck in the upcomÂing days!

In the meanÂtime, Andrea wants to say helÂlo to her mom and hopes the knee surgery went well. David Krause wants his friends and famÂiÂly to know that he is feelÂing strong and has finÂished the 7th HarÂry PotÂter. So, the team is hangÂing tough for now. The foreÂcast looks a bit iffy, but they will most likeÂly go for a sumÂmit push either the 17th or 18th, as the weathÂer looks to deteÂriÂoÂrate again on the 19th.
Stay tuned!
