Aconcagua Polish Traverse team
Andrew Wexler called in from Camp 1 on Aconcagua. The group is doing well. They are at Camp 1 for their last night. It has been snowing for 2 days and is snowing now. Yesterday they made a carry with supplies to Camp 2 and plan to move up to Camp 2 tomorrow to settle in for our summit push. The snow is making things a bit challenging, but is good for conditions overall and if the weather clears allows for sometimes easier travel than over what can be scree slopes in dry conditions. So, wish them luck in the upcoming days!

In the meantime, Andrea wants to say hello to her mom and hopes the knee surgery went well. David Krause wants his friends and family to know that he is feeling strong and has finished the 7th Harry Potter. So, the team is hanging tough for now. The forecast looks a bit iffy, but they will most likely go for a summit push either the 17th or 18th, as the weather looks to deteriorate again on the 19th.
Stay tuned!
