Success on Peru’s Alpamayo!

MM guide Tyler Anderson, along with Jonathan Walters and Robert Rothenberg recently cimbed what many consider the world’s most beautiful mountain. Tyler describes the climb as follows: Conditions were optimal. The route consisted of a combination of perfect snow and lots of ice. Summit day greated us with clear skies and a full moon. After climbing by moonlight for around 5 to 6 hours the moon finally set just as the sun rose. Amazing! Views were uninhibited and stunning. The current route takes a direct line to the true summit. We were the only ones on the mountain. A perfect Blanca day!” More to come.
