Dragontail Peak Backbone Ridge

Ascending 2000 feet / 610 meters up the north face of Dragontail Peak, Backbone Ridge is not for the faint-of-heart, but instead is for rock climbers who desire to test themselves on an alpine rock route of nearly matchless quality, and beauty. Rising out of the Alpine-Lakes Wilderness to tower above the jagged peaks and alpine lakes of the Enchantments, Dragontail is one of Washington’s most iconic mountains. As formidable as the peak appears there have been those that have challenged its steepest faces — and we have them to thank for classic test pieces like Backbone Ridge.

This trip is done on a custom basis.
