Start off Aconcagua Expedition with Steak and Wine!
Our fourth Aconcagua group has gathered in Mendoza and are all prepared for their adventure! Ian wrote in saying that the group is super stoked and the energy is running really high. “The group is also working super well together and communicating as though they’ve known each other for years!” The team says hi to their loved ones back home. Can you all feel their excitement and energy from across the hemispheres??

As a great way to start off the trip, the team has been enjoying great amounts of Argentinian steak and delicious red wine. They encountered a dish called a “sausage steak” — so named for this over one-inch thick meat slab that created some challenges for several members in the group.

They are all packed up and on their way out to Penitentes! We are crossing our fingers that the one bag lost in airline transit will show up before the team heads up to Base Camp. But what would a true adventure be without some challenges! Stay tuned for more updates!
