Start off Aconcagua Expedition with Steak and Wine!

Our fourth Aconcagua group has gath­ered in Men­doza and are all pre­pared for their adven­ture! Ian wrote in say­ing that the group is super stoked and the ener­gy is run­ning real­ly high. The group is also work­ing super well togeth­er and com­mu­ni­cat­ing as though they’ve known each oth­er for years!” The team says hi to their loved ones back home. Can you all feel their excite­ment and ener­gy from across the hemispheres??

As a great way to start off the trip, the team has been enjoy­ing great amounts of Argen­tin­ian steak and deli­cious red wine. They encoun­tered a dish called a sausage steak” — so named for this over one-inch thick meat slab that cre­at­ed some chal­lenges for sev­er­al mem­bers in the group.

They are all packed up and on their way out to Pen­i­tentes! We are cross­ing our fin­gers that the one bag lost in air­line tran­sit will show up before the team heads up to Base Camp. But what would a true adven­ture be with­out some chal­lenges! Stay tuned for more updates!
