Ruth Gorge Trip Dispatch: Snow!

Seth Hobby photo

We just got another dispatch in from Dave Ahrens, who is guiding our nine-day expedition training course in the Ruth Gorge.

He says they’ve moved camp to below Mount Dickey and Mount Bradley, up valley from the main Ruth Gorge. They got a late start because of whiteout conditions, and now it’s storming hard! They’re being careful to avoid the avalanches on Mount Dickey, and are planning to head up to 747 Pass tomorrow, weather dependent.

Stay tuned for more dispatches as we get them!
