After 12 hours of intense work, at 9 am local time three climbers along with two guides and seven sherpas reached the summit of Mount Everest. A fourth member, Christopher Hill, made it as far as the Balcony at 27,500′(8400 m) and described it thusly: “Last three days were probably the most challenging I’ve ever had.” Christopher reports the team is safely back to Camp II.
More details to come; in the meantime enjoy some striking summit day photos from Ossy, and congratulations to the expedition!
