Aconcagua Update-12/2015: Todo Bien from 4300m at Aconcagua Basecamp!
Our group is doing well and have been enjoying some unusually calm weather here at Plaza de Mulas.
We dropped off a heavy load of gear, food, and fuel at our camp one at 5100m yesterday, and are taking a nice rest day here before we move onto the mountain to start our summit bid. Hopefully we will be standing on top of South America in a little under a weeks time.
Our Group at the start of the trip at the trailhead.
Here is the team descending from camp 1 to Basecamp.
I can honestly say this group is exceptionally strong and also entertaining! We are truly enjoying each others company and have had a terrific time getting to know each other.
Hope all is well with all of our families and friends!
