Aconcagua Polish Traverse Expedition calls from base camp!
Hello from Base camp! After six hours of climbing, we have made it. We are feeling a bit tired, but everyone is excited to be here! The team caught their first glimpse of the polish glacier, the view was amazing. We were climbing up to base camp looking up at the south face, and our anticipation for the climb is building!
So far the weather is been great! The wind has been picking up down low in the valley during the afternoons; but we predict that the weather will be good up high. Now we are resting 4,220 meters… it is quite sunny, very beautiful.
