Hel­lo from Base camp! After six hours of climb­ing, we have made it. We are feel­ing a bit tired, but every­one is excit­ed to be here! The team caught their first glimpse of the pol­ish glac­i­er, the view was amaz­ing. We were climb­ing up to base camp look­ing up at the south face, and our antic­i­pa­tion for the climb is building! 

So far the weath­er is been great! The wind has been pick­ing up down low in the val­ley dur­ing the after­noons; but we pre­dict that the weath­er will be good up high. Now we are rest­ing 4,220 meters… it is quite sun­ny, very beautiful.
