Aconcagua Dispatch 1/2/09

Hel­lo Moun­tain Mad­ness! It is 4:15pm here and we are rest­ing in sec­ond camp after mak­ing our car­ry today. Our team felt strong as we car­ried to camp three at 19,400 feet. The car­ry only took us five hours round trip! Right now we are recov­er­ing from our climb, drink­ing plen­ty of water and enjoy­ing the sun­shine. We hope that the weath­er stays the same for the next few days, so we can move to third camp and plan our sum­mit attempt!
