Peak 11,300

The Alpinist’s Dream

Most strong alpinists familiar with Alaskan climbing have climbed, or want to climb, Peak 11,300 (11,300 ft / 3444 m; V, 5.8, 60’ ice). The Southwest Ridge is the epitome of a superb Alaskan ridge climb – mixed, long, and committing. A spectacular small bivouac spot is situated half way up the route that also adds to the allure of the route. Great rock, engaging route finding, a bit of alpine ice, and lots of cornice climbing – all at a moderate technical level – characterize climbing on Peak 11,300. Join one of our world-class guides on this world-class route!
