Stephen Inman

Stephen grew up in New Eng­land and began tak­ing hik­ing trips at an ear­ly age. In col­lege, he spent his time explor­ing the local climb­ing areas of NH and VT. After grad­u­a­tion, and a brief stint play­ing pro­fes­sion­al ice hock­ey, Stephen moved west to Ida­ho to pur­sue a career in the moun­tains. Stephen worked for the Sun Val­ley Ski Patrol while climb­ing and ski­ing as much as pos­si­ble dur­ing his time off, before mak­ing the tran­si­tion to full-time guid­ing. Stephen now spends his time guid­ing in the North­west, Ida­ho, Alas­ka, and the North­east. He is an AMGA cer­ti­fied SPI, Appren­tice Rock Guide, Appren­tice Ski Guide, and is tak­ing his Alpine Guide course in Spring 2022. He’s also an Avalanche Pro 1, Wilder­ness First Respon­der, and Leave No Trace Mas­ter Educator.
