
Pancho Francisco Arroba
Born and raised in Quito-Ecuador, he began this passion for the outdoors and nature as a teenager. Because of his interest for the environment, he studied biology and eventually got a master’s degree in Geographical Information Systems. Pancho has summitted peaks in the Andes of Ecuador, Peru, Aconcagua, and Patagonia, and guided many mountains around South America. In addition to mountaineering, he’s had notebale rock climbs on El Capitan in Yosemite Valley, peaks in Montserrat Catalunya, and La Esfinge in Peru. Pancho has a wilderness first responder certification, is part of the Ecuadorian Mountain Guide Association ASEGUIM, as well as currently being in the last stages of achieving his IFMGA certification.
