Pancho Francisco Arroba
Born and raised in Quito-Ecuador, he began this pasÂsion for the outÂdoors and nature as a teenagÂer. Because of his interÂest for the enviÂronÂment, he studÂied biolÂoÂgy and evenÂtuÂalÂly got a master’s degree in GeoÂgraphÂiÂcal InforÂmaÂtion SysÂtems. PanÂcho has sumÂmitÂted peaks in the Andes of Ecuador, Peru, Aconcagua, and PatagÂoÂnia, and guidÂed many mounÂtains around South AmerÂiÂca. In addiÂtion to mounÂtaineerÂing, he’s had noteÂbale rock climbs on El CapÂiÂtan in Yosemite ValÂley, peaks in MontserÂrat CatalunÂya, and La EsfinÂge in Peru. PanÂcho has a wilderÂness first responÂder cerÂtiÂfiÂcaÂtion, is part of the EcuadoÂriÂan MounÂtain Guide AssoÂciÂaÂtion ASEGUIM, as well as curÂrentÂly being in the last stages of achievÂing his IFMÂGA certification.
