Oswaldo Freire

Ossy was born and raised in Ecuador and knows his coun­try’s peaks inti­mate­ly. He has climbed Pik Lenin, the dif­fi­cult West Face of Huay­na Poto­si, Pumori, Aconcagua’s South Face, the Dolomites, and through­out South Amer­i­ca. Recent­ly he has suc­ceed­ed in reach­ing the sum­mit of Man­aslu and Ever­est, both with­out oxy­gen. Ossy has guid­ed five of the Sev­en Sum­mits, includ­ing the suc­cess­ful 2017 Moun­tain Mad­ness Ever­est expe­di­tion. Ossy is a ful­ly cer­ti­fied IFM­GA Moun­tain Guide.
