Max Bond

Max Bond hails from the ​“glaciat­ed mec­ca” of Cleve­land, Ohio, where he learned to climb on graf­fi­ti-cov­ered cliffs and ski on 280-foot hills. After high school, he moved to the White Moun­tains of New Hamp­shire, where he stud­ied Glaciol­o­gy and Cli­mate Sci­ence at Dart­mouth Col­lege. Max has guid­ed in Col­orado, Wash­ing­ton, the Juneau Ice­field, Denali, Ecuador, and the Himalayas. In his per­son­al time, he has climbed and skied peaks in Ice­land, France, the Juneau Ice­field, the Stikine Ice­field, New Eng­land, Col­orado, Cal­i­for­nia, the Himalayas, and the Pacif­ic North­west. Max is an AMGA Appren­tice Ski and Alpine Guide, and main­tains AAA Pro‑1 avalanche, WFR, LNT Train­er, AASI Lev­el 2 Snow­board Instruc­tor, and AIARE Instruc­tor certifications.
