Jesse Selwyn
Jesse began rock climbÂing in 2002 while in colÂlege in the southÂeast. FolÂlowÂing gradÂuÂaÂtion and wantÂiÂng to climb in largÂer and coldÂer enviÂronÂments, he maxed out his credÂit card on ice and ski gear before movÂing to MonÂtana where he learned to climb in the mounÂtains through misÂtakes and luck. He’s since climbed and skied in a numÂber of counÂtries and across the US.
CurÂrentÂly based in westÂern ColÂorado, Jesse guides mostÂly in CO, UT, WA, and AK throughÂout the year. Known for his calm demeanor and terÂriÂble wit, he’s a fun perÂson to learn from or spend the day going after a climbÂing objective.
A litÂtle-known secret is that Jesse is a strong all-around outÂdoor athÂlete, you would nevÂer know because he wouldn’t brag- so we’ll do it for him, but don’t let him serve you up too many days of humÂble pie! He is purÂsuÂing IFMÂGA certification.
