Jennifer Shields

Jen grew up in the north­east explor­ing the white moun­tains in her back­yard. She now spends her win­ters in Salt Lake City as a ski guide and sum­mers per­form­ing moun­tain search & res­cue in the Cas­cades. Dur­ing her time off, she loves trav­el­ing inter­na­tion­al­ly for ski­ing, climb­ing, and scu­ba div­ing — South Amer­i­ca, Japan, Ice­land, New Zealand to name a few. She also enjoys desert canyoneer­ing and chat­ting about astronomy.
