Gaspar Navarrete

Born and raised in Ecuador, Gas­par offers expert insight into the cul­ture and moun­tains of his home coun­try. He has climbed in the Alps, Venezuela, Colom­bia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and the U.S. He has first ascents in both Bolivia and Ecuador. He was trained as a moun­tain guide in Bolivia and Cha­monix, France and holds ASEGUIM cer­ti­fi­ca­tion. He is the direc­tor of the Moun­tain Guides School from Ecuador when not guid­ing in South America.
