Boniface Nkunda

Boni­face Nkun­da has been work­ing in the African tourism indus­try since 2004, start­ing as a porter and work­ing his way up through assis­tant guide, head guide, and now assis­tant expe­di­tion leader. He first want­ed to climb the moun­tains because he was born very close to Mount Meru, and his moth­er was born on the slopes of Mount Kil­i­man­jaro. His favorite thing about guid­ing is mak­ing clients’ dreams come true. He’s an avid moun­tain bike rid­er, enjoys read­ing books, and if he could be any ani­mal, he’d be an African elephant.
