Arthur has worked as an alpine, rock, and ski guide since 2016. He has guidÂed and climbed alpine routes and ski descents around the world, includÂing the glaciatÂed volÂcanos of Ecuador, high peaks in the Andes (Aconcagua, ArgentiÂna), CanaÂdiÂan RockÂies, the Ruth and TokositÂna GlacÂiÂers of the AlasÂka Range, SkiÂing in TakhinÂsha MounÂtains of Haines AK, numerÂous remote, techÂniÂcal alpine climbs and traÂversÂes in the CasÂcades of WashÂingÂton and High SierÂra of CA. First ascents/​enchainments and fastest known times in IdaÂho, Zion UT, the Grand Canyon of AZ. Arthur is a pasÂsionÂate rock climber and skiÂer and spends his shoulÂder seaÂsons on the big walls of Yosemite, CA and Zion, UT. TeachÂing is one of Arthur’s favorite aspects to mounÂtain guidÂing, and alongÂside avalanche eduÂcaÂtion he balÂances his guidÂing work as an adjunct facÂulÂty memÂber for Prescott ColÂlege in AZ.
