Back in the comfort zone and a special thanks!

May 9

Final days in KathĀmanĀdu are filled with eatĀing (everyĀthing is sudĀdenĀly more deliĀcious), shopĀping (among the dizzyĀing myrĀiĀad of wares), loungĀing (anyĀone for a dip in the pool?), plus perĀsonĀal excurĀsions rangĀing from a HinĀdi wedĀding to a lucraĀtive stint in the casiĀno. The simĀple days of walkĀing and walkĀing recede into memĀoĀry. We part, bondĀed by our days in these mounĀtains, and itā€™s one of the things I like best: the uniĀfyĀing nature of this extreme expeĀriĀence, how we are forĀevĀer conĀnectĀed to each othĀer by our time in the Himalayas. For me, itā€™s time to fatĀten up! Itā€™s all hapĀpenĀing again next season.ā€¦

As we wrap up anothĀer great seaĀson, our US office and I just wantĀed to take a moment to pubĀlicly thank all the peoĀple in KathĀmanĀdu who work behind the scenes to make our trips so sucĀcessĀful! Kili, Sagar and Shankar in the head office, PushĀpa at the airĀport, our driĀvers, and our hotel staff in KathĀmanĀdu (espeĀcialĀly the bell counter). THANK YOU ALL!!!!
