Nate Goodwin

Nate was born and raised in Western Washington and began climbing soon after getting his driver’s license. He cut his teeth in the Cascades while in high school and moved to Bozeman, MT to attend Montana State University where he continued to pursue rock and ice climbing as well as backcountry skiing. His climbing has taken him throughout the west US, the Canadian Rockies, the Central Alaska Range as well as Argentina and Chilean Patagonia. Nate has also completed first ascents of alpine and rock routes in North and South America. He holds an AIARE Level 1 and Wilderness First Responder certificates, and is an AMGA Apprentice Rock Guide and LNT Trainer. His favorite aspect of guiding is seeing others develop the skills and techniques they need to push their climbing to greater heights and technical levels. When not guiding or climbing Nate is pursuing a nursing degree in Missoula, MT.
