
Nate Goodwin
Nate was born and raised in WestÂern WashÂingÂton and began climbÂing soon after getÂting his driÂver’s license. He cut his teeth in the CasÂcades while in high school and moved to BozeÂman, MT to attend MonÂtana State UniÂverÂsiÂty where he conÂtinÂued to purÂsue rock and ice climbÂing as well as backÂcounÂtry skiÂing. His climbÂing has takÂen him throughÂout the west US, the CanaÂdiÂan RockÂies, the CenÂtral AlasÂka Range as well as ArgentiÂna and Chilean PatagÂoÂnia. Nate has also comÂpletÂed first ascents of alpine and rock routes in North and South AmerÂiÂca. He holds an AIARE LevÂel 1 and WilderÂness First ResponÂder cerÂtifiÂcates, and is an AMGA ApprenÂtice Rock Guide and LNT TrainÂer. His favorite aspect of guidÂing is seeÂing othÂers develÂop the skills and techÂniques they need to push their climbÂing to greater heights and techÂniÂcal levÂels. When not guidÂing or climbÂing Nate is purÂsuÂing a nursÂing degree in MisÂsoula, MT.
