Casey Henley

Casey Hen­ley grew up and learned to climb and ski in the Cana­di­an Rock­ies. He is the Head Instruc­tor for the Climb­ing & Ski­ing Pro­grams for Platts­burgh State Uni­ver­si­ty’s Expe­di­tionary Stud­ies Degree Pro­gram. He has guid­ed on 6 of the 7 sum­mits, as well as Mt. Logan (with ski descent), Ama Dablam, Imja Tse, Cho Oyu, the Mex­i­can Vol­ca­noes, in Pak­istan’s K2 area, Patag­o­nia, the St. Elias Range’s peaks, and many oth­ers. He is known for his mel­low, friend­ly, teach­ing style, and loves to share his pas­sion for remote and wild moun­tain areas.
