Brett Baekey

Brett grew up climb­ing in the north­east, cut­ting his teeth at clas­sic venues such as the Gunks, the Adiron­dacks, the Catskills, and the White Moun­tains. Since then, climb­ing has tak­en him through­out North Amer­i­ca, with trips and expe­di­tions to the cen­tral Alas­ka Range, the Wadding­ton Range of British Colum­bia, the Cana­di­an Rock­ies, and through­out the Amer­i­can West. He is always excit­ed to share his pas­sion for the moun­tains with oth­ers. Brett has guid­ed through­out the front and cen­tral moun­tain ranges of Col­orado, as well as in the cen­tral Alas­ka Range on Denali. He is an AMGA Appren­tice Rock Guide, cer­ti­fied Sin­gle Pitch Instruc­tor, holds cur­rent WFR cer­ti­fi­ca­tion and Lev­el II AIARE training.
