Services Provided

From our years of experience we've been able to fine-tune how much and what equipment to bring, staff requirements, meal planning, and the most appropriate accommodations. You will leave the cooking to us. A sample of our meals include pastas, rice dishes, and of course fresh fruit and vegetables when available, all with a sprinkle of local flavor thrown in. And we take care of all the logistical arrangements; from the greeting at the airport when you arrive, to providing quality equipment for all our camps and the porter and pack animal support needed to get it there, to choosing the most ideal restaurant for the celebration dinner at the conclusion of your adventure. And for those looking for more of a hands-on learning experience your guides will be more than happy to share their expertise about local customs and culture to the migration patterns of the zebra.

Exceptional Guides and Safety
The list of accomplishments for our guides is exceptional. From exploring unknown regions across the globe, to researching giant river otters in Bolivia, to first ascents in Patagonia, Tibet, the North Cascades, and ascents of the world's highest peaks and most difficult rock climbs, our guides have accomplished some of the most physically and mentally demanding adventures on the planet. Many of our guides are also accomplished in other fields including natural history, wildlife biology, Latin America and Asian Studies, avalanche forecasting, meteorology, and psychology. We have set rigorous standards for our guides. All guides have been certified as Wilderness First Responders and trained in technical rescue techniques.

No Hidden Costs
Mountain Madness eliminates the "hidden costs" associated with many treks by offering more services for the same price. We pay for virtually everything from the moment we pick you up at airport to the end of your trip. * We provide fantastic restaurant dining before and after your trek, and on all our international treks we include porters and pack animal support.
* Exceptions include laundry, room service, phone calls, unscheduled restaurant and hotels, and other items of a personal nature
